Ryder System, Inc. is seeking a Group Manager Logistics I to oversee multiple accounts, focusing on profitable growth, safety, and customer satisfaction within a dynamic logistics environment. The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and regulatory compliance in a Fortune 500 setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in supply chain, logistics, warehouse, or related field.
• 3+ years leading teams and developing direct reports.
• LEAN experience and LEAN environment exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of truck brokerage, Ryder products, and Ryder pricing models is valued.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and data analysis.

Responsabilités

• Set goals, assess skills, develop employees, and manage performance reviews.
• Lead direct and indirect reports, ensure staffing, and optimize personnel mix.
• Create and improve location processes and cross-train teams.
• Drive customer satisfaction, track KPI, and ensure staff training in Transportation/Distribution Management.
• Improve retention and safety, review overtime, and follow up on safety reporting.
• Initiate location process improvements and conduct self-audits; manage SOX and invoicing tasks.
