Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas seeks a Group Housing Specialist I to manage group room blocks, pricing, and client communications for events up to 1,500 room nights. The role works from an off-site corporate location and liaises with internal teams to ensure seamless group experiences.

Responsibilities include creating web links, building blocks, auditing rooming lists, and supporting attrition discussions to maximize client satisfaction and hotel collaboration.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of guest service experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Experience navigating multiple systems.
• Experience with Property Management Systems (Opera, Delphi, Passkey) preferred.
• Experience in a resort setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create group booking links and build room blocks in systems.
• Manage room blocks, rates, and group communications.
• Support and coordinate with hotel, sales, revenue, and convention services.
• Review contracts and ensure proper setup in systems for events.
• Maintain inventory, rates, attrition, and related event data.
• Represent Group Housing in meetings and planning sessions.
