Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas is seeking a Group Housing Specialist I to partner with group clients and manage their room blocks with precision. The role focuses on delivering WOW experiences through strong communication, problem-solving, and attention to detail across Passkey, Amadeus, and property systems.

The position supports off-site corporate operations, handling blocks up to 1,500 room nights and coordinating with hotel, sales, revenue, and convention services teams to ensure

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year guest service experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience navigating multiple systems.
• Experience with Property Management Systems (Opera, Delphi, Passkey) preferred.
• Experience in a resort setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create Passkey weblinks for group bookings and build multiple property blocks and rates in Passkey and Amadeus.
• Manage group room block/booking processes and communications for Las Vegas properties.
• Maintain timely communication between group clients, leadership, and partners with hotel, sales, revenue, and convention services.
• Review sales contracts and handle housing obligations in systems; ensure accurate setup.
• Monitor room inventory, rates, availability, and attrition related to events.
• Coordinate special guest requests and ensure proper department notification.
• Prepare reporting for clients and manage master rooming specs and charges.
