RHA Health Services is seeking a Group Home Supervisor to oversee Direct Support staff and manage operations, staffing, and budgets for facilities in the program. The role emphasizes understanding individuals within their personal histories and support networks to foster a positive home environment.

The position involves supervising three shifts, ensuring staffing coverage, and maintaining a clean, safe home and yard for residents. CPR/First Aid training and relevant certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities.
• Flexible schedule and availability to provide on-call coverage as needed.
• CPR, first aid, NCI and/or MedTech certification, a plus.
• Must be qualified as a Habilitation Technician II (med certified) or eligible to be so designated at the first available training after accepting the position.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of Direct Support employees and manages operations, staffing and budget of facilities assigned.
• Interviews and hires Direct Support Professionals
• Prepares employee schedules ensuring that there is adequate staffing coverage at all times.
• Performs all personal care duties that Direct Support perform, such as personal hygiene tasks, meal preparation and goal implementation.
• Monitors and provides feedback to staff on interactions with people supported across all shifts.
• Resolves employee issues and conducts performance reviews
• Ensures employees meet training requirements and attend required events
• Monitors budget items staying within guidelines
• Provides after-hours and on-call coverage as part of the direct care rotation
