Job summary

Day Spring is seeking a Residential Manager in Louisville, KY to supervise two group homes and lead direct care staff. The role focuses on ensuring quality care, policy adherence, and a mission-driven culture.

The position requires 21+ years old, a related degree or supervisory experience, and strong leadership and organizational skills. Flexibility to work weekdays 9–5 with occasional demands is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Degree in a related field and/or 3 years’ supervisory experience in related roles.
• Strong critical-thinking and task management abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and computer use.
• Ability to work independently, show initiative, and stay motivated.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• SCL waiver knowledge preferred.
• Experience with crisis prevention/intervention preferred.
• Experience with Oasis or similar electronic health portals preferred.
• Ability to manage tasks and hold others accountable.
• Must multi-task and prioritize effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.
• Commitment to community living principles.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all assigned direct support staff and provide coaching.
• Set clear expectations and monitor outcomes.
• Lead with integrity and foster a positive house culture.
• Oversee health, safety, and welfare of residents.
• Provide DSP evaluations and feedback.
• Ensure staff coverage through staffing plans.
• Develop and oversee resident support plans.
• Monitor medication processes and train staff.
• Coordinate medical appointments and transportation.
• Complete required paperwork and site audits.
• Attend required meetings and trainings.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Program teams.
