Job summary

5 Star Cares is hiring two dependable House Managers to oversee daily group home operations, supervise staff, support residents, and maintain compliance with agency policies and applicable licensing requirements.

The ideal candidate has residential care experience, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to providing safe, respectful, person-centered care. Hours 8a-430p; O/C duties; reporting to Assistant Director of Operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of supervisory/lead/management experience in group home or residential care.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Current CNA license and valid driver's license.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs and pass required background checks.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily group home operations and supervise staff.
• Coordinate services and ensure timely delivery to residents.
• Recruit, interview, and onboard new staff.
• Maintain accurate resident and staff documentation.
• Ensure policy compliance and safety procedures are followed.
• Support residents with disabilities and monitor well-being.
• Communicate with leadership, families, and providers.
• Attend required trainings and meetings.
• Promote teamwork and a positive environment.
• Schedule appointments and transportation as needed.
