Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Groundsperson to support vegetation management crews in the Huntington, MA area. The role involves clearing brush and trees from the ground, assisting with cleanup, and maintaining a safe, organized work site.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. This full-time position offers health benefits and a retirement plan, with travel as needed for storm restoration.

Qualifications

• Must possess physical strength and balance to drag heavy limbs, use tools on uneven terrain.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ground-based vegetation management and brush/tree clearing.
• Load/unload trucks with logs and debris; operate brush chipper.
• Set up road signs and flag traffic to protect workers and the public.
• Drive trucks or operate equipment; perform basic maintenance on vehicles.
