Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew by performing ground-based vegetation work, including clearing brush and trees, under the direction of the Foreperson. A valid driver’s license is required, and the job involves travel for storm restoration when needed.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety, loading equipment, and performing site cleanup. This full-time role offers health insurance and a 401(k) option, with a generous PTO plan as described in the posting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Ability to operate chain saw, pruners and other handheld equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety practices and keep work area clear of debris.
• Work from the ground to clear brush and trees using saws and pruners.
• Load/unload trucks with debris and feed brush into chipper.
• Set up road signs and flag traffic to protect workers.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Travel for storm restoration work when needed.
