Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Groundsperson to support the crew by performing ground-based tasks such as clearing brush and trees from job sites. A valid Driver’s License is required, and the role involves working outdoors in varying conditions.

Responsibilities include safety enforcement, debris clearance, tool operation, loading/unloading, traffic control, and assisting with storm restoration when needed. This is a full-time position with health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Experience in vegetation management or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and enforce safe practices.
• Clear debris and brush from job sites.
• Cut brush and trees with hand tools and gas-powered equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris to chipper.
• Set up traffic signs and flag traffic for safety.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment.
• Support storm restoration work as needed.
