Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Groundskeeper/Porter in Glendale, CA to maintain community grounds, amenities, and curb appeal. You will support the service team, perform cleaning duties, and assist with unit make-readies.

The role requires dependability, attention to detail, and a valid driver’s license for golf-cart operation on property. Compensation includes an hourly pay range of $18.00–$20.00/hr, plus robust benefits and a housing discount.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of groundskeeping/porter experience preferred
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and able to perform physical cleaning duties
• Valid driver's license required to operate a golf cart on property

Responsibilities

• Inspects the community to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings; keeps common areas neat
• Removes trash from vacant apartments before make-ready; cleans storage areas
• Completes routine service requests and assists the make-ready process
• Changes locks as per policy; ensures pool area gates operate safely
• Distributes notices to residents and informs supervisors of hazards
• Demonstrates customer service by responding to resident questions and complaints
• Follows safety policies and attends required safety trainings
