Job summary

The Glenridge on Palmer Ranch is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain exterior grounds and designated exterior areas, ensuring they remain clean, safe, and attractive for residents and staff.

You will perform power washing, lawn and plant care, weed control, seasonal frost protection, and routine maintenance across campus, following established policies and procedures and contributing to a positive living environment.

Qualifications

• Must have at least an eighth grade education; high school diploma preferred.
• At least one year proven experience as laborer, gardener, groundskeeper, or similar.
• Be well organized, can work with limited direction, and plan duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cleanliness of garages and power washes debris.
• Promotes safety of residents and employees while working.
• Controls mold on exterior surfaces (e.g., pool area).
• Rakes the tennis court daily.
• Cleans main entrances daily (Security, ALF, SNF, Cypress, Oak, Palm).
• Power washes entrances, doorways, sidewalks and curbs.
• Assists with hurricane preparation procedures as required.
• Handles chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Attends mandatory in-service training and follows policies.
