Job summary

Xylem Tree Experts is seeking a Groundsperson in Franklin, NC, to clear brush, assist with storm work, and keep sites safe and organized. You will use hand tools and power equipment, load materials, and coordinate with the crew to complete daily tasks efficiently.

Candidates should have prior outdoor or landscaping experience, a high school level education, and the ability to work in varying weather. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, and a 401K enrollment option.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to perform demanding outdoor labor.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and drug screen as required.
• Driver’s License preferred but not required for non-driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Clear brush and trees as directed and perform site clean-up.
• Follow safety rules and maintain clean work areas.
• Operate chain saws, pruners, and other tools to remove brush.
• Load/unload materials and assist with transport of debris.
• Set up and break down road signs and assist with traffic safety.
• Perform basic maintenance on trucks and equipment and report needs.
