Job summary

RPM Living in Houston, TX is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the exterior grounds, common areas, and leasing office of multifamily properties.

You will perform landscaping, cleaning, make-ready prep for vacant units, and assist in preventive maintenance while communicating clearly with residents and team members. This on-site role requires physical stamina and a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager.
• Thoroughly clean breezeways and common areas.
• Execute basic landscaping including trimming, watering, and irrigation monitoring.
• Assist in make-ready preparation for vacant units.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to uphold property quality.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate with residents and team members.
• Report supply needs and maintain shop organization.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and contractors for seamless property upkeep.
• Assess safety and cleanliness standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Maintain overall property condition including interior/exterior painting.
