Job summary

RPM Living in Austin, TX is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain the grounds, exteriors, and leasing offices of multifamily properties. Responsibilities include trash removal, sweeping, basic landscaping, and unit make-readies to support property turnover.

Role requires teamwork, safety awareness, and ability to operate basic maintenance tools. The position is on site with a flexible schedule and competitive benefits. Pay is $20/hour with bonuses and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
• Basic Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Complete grounds work as directed by Maintenance Manager and/or Community Manager.
• Thoroughly clean breezeways and power wash as needed.
• Execute basic landscaping including trimming, pruning, watering.
• Assist in make-ready units and trash outs prior to make-ready.
• Conduct preventive maintenance activities to uphold property quality.
• Document maintenance activities and communicate with residents and team.
• Report supply needs and maintain shop organization.
• Collaborate with maintenance team and contractors for seamless operation.
• Assess property safety and cleanliness standards to protect residents.
• Maintain grounds cleanliness and assist with interior/exterior painting.

Education

High school diploma or GED – Preferred

One to three months related experience
