Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of our communities are well maintained and curb appeal standards are met. You will support the service team and help with make-ready tasks, while upholding safety and resident satisfaction.

The role requires performing routine maintenance, completing requests, and ensuring gates and locks function correctly. A valid driver's license to operate a golf cart is required, with opportunities for bonus programs based on

Qualifications

• Requires strong maintenance and repair skills across common areas and units.
• Customer service mindset with resident interaction experience.
• Familiarity with OSHA or safety practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect the community throughout the day to keep common areas neat and free of litter.
• Remove trash from vacant apartments and assist with make-ready process.
• Complete routine service requests as directed by supervisor and assist the make-ready specialist.
• Change locks and ensure pool area gates operate safely and per codes.
• Distribute notices and communications to residents as needed.
• Inform supervisors of hazards or dangerous situations for residents and staff.
• Provide courteous customer service and respond to resident inquiries and complaints.
• Comply with safety policies and participate in safety trainings and meetings.
