Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the physical aspects of the community are maintained and standards are met regarding grounds, amenities, and curb appeal, while supporting the service team.

Responsibilities include inspecting the community, removing litter, making-ready vacant units, changing locks, and ensuring pool area safety. The role requires a valid driver’s license for property access and occasional travel between properties.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license to operate on-property.
• Ability to serve residents with courtesy and professionalism.
• Capable of performing physical tasks and lifting up to 50 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Inspects the community daily to keep common areas neat and litter-free.
• Removes trash and prepares vacants for turnover during make-ready.
• Completes routine service requests and assists the make-ready process.
• Changes locks and ensures pool gates operate safely and according to policy.
• Distributes notices and communicates with residents as needed.
• Reports hazards to supervisors and maintains safety standards.
• Delivers strong resident service and responds to maintenance inquiries.
• Follows OSHA and safety policies and attends safety trainings.
