Job summary

Pike Corporation is seeking a Groundman to support the construction and maintenance of our electric distribution systems. You will assist the crew in building, repairing and maintaining overhead lines, while prioritizing safety and following established procedures.

This is a physically demanding role that requires lifting up to 50 pounds and willingness to travel on short notice. You will work outdoors in various weather conditions, participate in on-call rotations, and report to the Foreman as

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License; ability to obtain CDL within 60 days.
• Willing to travel long distances on short notice.
• Lift/carry/pull up to 50 pounds.
• Work extended hours including weekends and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist crew in building, repairing and maintaining overhead distribution systems.
• Help install and repair power lines, poles, insulators and hardware.
• Maintain company vehicles, equipment and tools in good condition.
• Follow safety protocols and PPE requirements.
