Job summary

Veho is hiring a Ground Operations Lead to oversee daily logistics activities, manage a cross-functional shift, and uphold safety and operational standards. The role involves directing processes to ensure timely launches and successful sorts with driver partners, while maintaining high service levels.

The position requires at least 1 year in logistics or related fields, a willingness to work a schedule including weekends, and comfort with physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in logistics, operations management or a related field (preferred).
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
• Owns a modern smartphone and can navigate apps daily.

Responsibilities

• Lead a shift to ensure safe, efficient execution of daily logistics operations.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to launch and sort shipments.
• Navigate technology platforms to manage changes, re-routes, and operational challenges.
• Operate forklift and possibly a box truck with care to move goods safely.
• Provide high levels of customer service to driver partners and internal teams.
• Demonstrate strong communication to effectively lead a shift.
• Stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
