Job summary

Sonic Drive-In in the United States is seeking an Assistant Manager to support the General Manager in running the drive-in’s operations and ensuring quality food, safety and guest satisfaction.

You will train and coach Team Members, supervise shifts, manage inventory, and handle opening/closing duties while upholding Sonic standards. The role requires flexible hours, prior restaurant management experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and a team-first attitude.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team / Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops
• Directs and assigns drive-in restaurant employees to meet operational standards
• Performs restaurant opening and/or closing duties
• Monitors staffing levels, inventory levels and food cost control
• Completes weekly inventory and maintains documentation
• Reinforces customer service and responds to guest requests and complaints
