Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager to support daily drive-in restaurant operations under the General Manager. You will lead Team Members, coordinate shifts, and help uphold safety, cleanliness and quality standards while delivering a great guest experience.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a proven ability to train and motivate staff, including carhops and crew members. Irregular hours and weekends are expected, with opportunities to contribute to a thriving

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience required.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Effective communication skills; basic math, reading and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in managing drive-in restaurant operations.
• Train and support other employees to ensure quality food in a clean, safe and efficient manner.
• Direct and assign staff to ensure all aspects of food service meet standards.
• Oversee inventory and staff scheduling; perform opening/closing duties.
