Job summary

SONIC Drive-In is seeking an Assistant Manager in the United States to support the General Manager in running drive-in operations and coaching team members. You will train staff, ensure quality food, safety standards and fast service to guests.

The role emphasizes flexible hours, strong leadership, inventory control and administrative duties, with opportunities to grow through hands-on management and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months of restaurant management experience (QSR) or one year entry level retail management experience.
• Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends and holidays.
• General knowledge of the restaurant industry or retail operations.
• Effective communication, basic math and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages, trains, monitors and coaches Team/Crew Members, Carhops and Skating Carhops.
• Directs and assigns staff to meet operational standards.
• Performs opening and/or closing duties.
• Monitors staffing, inventory and food cost controls.
• Completes weekly inventory and maintains documentation.
• Reinforces customer service and resolves guest requests and complaints.
