Qualifications

• Experience in retail or other pet-related industry is preferred but not required.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods.
• Willingness to review videos and take tests online.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass drug screening and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Grooming services: brushing, bathing, nails trimming.
• Learn and demonstrate skills through the online distance program to become a groomer.
• Ensure the wellness and safety of pets.
• Develop relationships with neighbors by recommending products and services.
• Perform routine cleaning of the grooming area.
• Complete Safety Training certification.
• Assist store team during grooming downtime.
