Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) in a store environment. You will help groom and bathe dogs, learn through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming, and provide friendly, neighborly service to customers and their pets.

The role includes hands-on grooming activity, safety training, and opportunities to advance via paid training and a free tool kit upon enrollment in Paragon school.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or other pet-related work is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to stand, bend or stoop for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn via online/video training and complete tests.

Responsibilities

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services like brushing and bathing.
• Learn and demonstrate skills through the Paragon School online program.
• Ensure wellness and safety of furry patrons during grooming.
• Assist team during grooming downtime and maintain a clean, inviting space.
• Complete Safety Training certification and participate in training programs.
