Job summary

Pet Supplies Plus is seeking a Bather/Student Groomer (Groom Tech) to learn grooming through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming. You will gain hands-on experience, bathe and style dogs, and assist the team while building relationships with neighbors and their pets.

A free tool kit worth over $600 is provided upon enrollment and training is paid. Ideal candidates have a passion for pets, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Experience with pets and customer service preferred.
• Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to learn grooming skills through training.

Responsibilities

• Delight neighbors and pets with grooming services (brushing, bathing, nail trimming).
• Learn and demonstrate skills to become a groomer through the online distance program.
• Ensure wellness and safety of furry patrons.
• Develop relationships with neighbors and recommend products and services.
• Perform routine cleaning to keep grooming area inviting.
• Complete Safety Training certification.
