Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help customers select healthy foods while leading a busy Grocery team. You will support the Grocery Manager with inventory, ordering, merchandising, and staff development to deliver excellent service in a fast-paced store.

The role requires 1–3 years of retail leadership, strong communication, flexibility for scheduling, and a commitment to food quality and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and 1-3 years retail management experience.
• Familiarity with natural foods and alternative diets preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to take and give directions.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate and manage staff; understand margins and sales targets.
• Detail oriented with good organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to lift/move goods (up to 60 lbs) and stand for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team to deliver high quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries; ensure health and safety guidelines are followed.
