Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience and checkout flow.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to meet customer service and sales goals.
• Assist training of new team members and cross-train high-potential talent.
• Support department scheduling to improve engagement, service, and store profitability.
• Ensure product freshness by monitoring rotation and dating policies.
• Adhere to food safety standards and operate safely with accountability.
• Lead ordering, receiving, stocking, pricing, and product display when applicable.
• Help foster Meijer culture and DEI values.
• Operate registers and cash handling as needed.
