Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Engage peers to provide the best possible shopping experience for customers.
• Communicate with team members and assign daily tasks.
• Mentor and coach team members to exceed customer service and sales goals.
• Support training of new team members and cross‑training of high-potential staff.
• Assist in department scheduling to optimize engagement, service, and profitability.
• Ensure product freshness, rotate stock, and follow dating policies.
• Lead by example in food safety, safety practices, and accountability.
• Coordinate with leadership to manage ordering, receiving, stocking, and displays.
• Promote Meijer culture and inclusive work environment.
• Operate registers and handle cash when needed.
