Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age and 1-3 years retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Outgoing and friendly behavior with customers.
• Proven leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff.
• Detail-oriented with planning and organizational skills.
• Must transfer milk trays weighing up to 60 lbs., and boxes up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive squatting/kneeling/bending for accessibility.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Assist in leading a team to deliver high-quality products and excellent customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries.
• Ensure execution of health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ensure staff compliance.
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to team success.
