Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager in California to help customers make healthy choices while leading a busy store team. You will assist in managing the department, supervise the Grocery team, and coordinate merchandising and sales to meet goals.

Qualifications

1-3 years retail management experience; familiarity with natural foods preferred.
Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team.
Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs. and move heavy items.
Detail-oriented with strong planning and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
