Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help lead one of the store's busiest teams and help customers choose healthy options. You will support the Grocery Manager in daily operations, merchandising, and inventory control.

This role emphasizes teamwork, hiring and training, adherence to health and safety guidelines, and delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age and 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication, team environment participation.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude toward customers.
• Proven leadership ability to build, motivate and maintain staff.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organization and planning, ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Must lift milk trays up to 60 lbs. and boxes up to 50 lbs. as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, goal setting, communication, and teamwork.
• Lead a team that brainstorms to deliver high-quality product and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, teaching, training, and developing the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
