Qualifications

• Experience managing a department or multi-department operation within retail/hospitality/service.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to take and give direction in a team environment.
• Proven leadership ability to recruit, develop, and motivate staff and manage performance.
• Food Safety certification and knowledge of federal/state regulations for product freshness, sanitation, and safety.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Detail-oriented with analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine.
• Control costs by monitoring operations, labor, shrink, and pilferage; ensure freshness and inventory accuracy.
• Assist with store readiness for physical inventories and coordinate deliveries and invoices.
• Schedule staffing, communicate standards, and lead teams to deliver high-quality products and service.
• Support hiring decisions in collaboration with the Store Manager and address personnel concerns.
