Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help lead one of our busiest store departments. You will drive customer-focused service, supervise the Grocery Team, manage inventory and merchandising, and support the Grocery Manager in achieving sales and profitability goals.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to coordinate across teams in a fast-paced retail setting. Flexible scheduling and physical tasks are part of the job as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Be at least 18 years of age and 1–3 years retail management experience.
• Must have strong communication skills (written and verbal).
• Demonstrate leadership ability to build, motivate and manage staff.
• Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 60 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Lead and develop the Grocery Team, including hiring and training.
• Support in unloading deliveries and ensuring health, safety, and sanitation guidelines are followed.
