Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Grocery Manager to oversee multiple departments including Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, and Beer/Wine. You will drive sales, manage labor, ensure product freshness, and coach team members to deliver exceptional customer service.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and a commitment to food safety; flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays is expected. A dynamic, fast-paced store environment awaits you.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience within a multi-department operation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to give/take direction in a team environment.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with a positive attitude toward customers.
• Proven leadership ability to motivate staff and hit financial goals.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Must maintain Food Safety certification and comply with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of multiple departments (Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, Beer/Wine).
• Ensure product handling, rotate for freshness and perform date controls.
• Control costs by monitoring operations and labor, reducing shrink and pilferage.
• Assist with store inventories and verify deliveries against invoices.
• Lead scheduling and staffing to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Provide coaching and development discussions with team members and participate in performance reviews.
• Recruit, hire and promote in collaboration with Store Manager.
• Communicate standards and product knowledge to team; lead in-store meetings.
