Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have 1 year of managerial or supervisory experience within a multi-department operation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Outgoing, friendly attitude with a positive approach to customers.
• Proven leadership to motivate and manage staff and understand financial goals.
• Food Safety certification and knowledge of federal/state regulations for safety and freshness.
• Strong organization and planning with ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Oversee sales and operations of multiple departments (Grocery, Dairy, Frozen Food, Beer/Wine).
• Control costs by monitoring operations, Labor, shrink, and pilferage to improve profitability.
• Assist in store readiness for physical inventory and coordinate deliveries/receipts.
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in collaboration with the Store Manager.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback; participate in bi-annual reviews.
• Lead team meetings and communicate standards and product knowledge.
