Dollar General in Stockton, CA seeks an on-duty Food Department Manager to oversee daily store operations, manage inventory, and present appealing, profitable merchandise while delivering quality customer service.

You will lead in the Store Manager's and Assistant Manager's absence, train associates in stocking, food handling, and presentation, and ensure compliance with safety rules, cash controls, and company procedures, protecting assets and maintaining store standards.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Two to three years of retail clerk experience preferred.
• Previous lead experience and/or grocery store experience preferred.
• Candidates must obtain local food handling certifications if applicable.
• Ability to perform cash handling and cashier duties.

Mansioni

• Authorize refunds and overrides and balance the cash register.
• Maintain cash accountability, key control, and store security.
• Cover Store Manager duties in their absence and assist as directed.
• Train employees on stocking, presentation, and food handling procedures.
• Monitor stock, pricing, and signage to ensure planogram compliance.
• Ensure customer service standards and safe store operations.
