Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and follow plan-o-gram and merchandise presentation guidance.
• Willingness to obtain required certifications in food handling.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Grocery Food Department and act as manager on duty when designated.
• Manage inventory, pricing, signage and merchandising for appealing presentation.
• Supervise cash handling, refunds/overrides, and bank deposits with accuracy.
• Train and develop associates; ensure safety and compliance with food handling laws.
• Ensure scheduling coverage and effective store operations in the Manager's absence.
• Direct receiving, stocking, rotation of perishable foods, and planogram execution.
