Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to support the Grocery Department at our Warrenton location. You will supervise up to 25 associates, help recruit and train staff, and assist in directing daily operations to meet store goals.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, strong communication, and teamwork. You will participate in ongoing training and ensure safety, sanitation, and product knowledge standards are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 2–3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in and complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Complete Company’s training including but not limited to new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge
