Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to supervise up to 25 associates in the Grocery Department and possibly the HBC/GM Department. You will help direct and evaluate these teams in line with Harris Teeter policies and applicable laws while ensuring outstanding customer service at our retail stores.

You will interview and train associates, plan and direct work, and participate in performance reviews and disciplinary actions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Two to three years related experience and/or training is expected.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service and excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in and complete required training and to train others.
