Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to supervise up to 25 associates in the Grocery Department and possibly oversee the HBC/GM department. You will help direct, coordinate, and evaluate daily store operations in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

The role emphasizes leadership through the 5 Es, training, performance feedback, and resolving customer and team issues. A high school diploma or GED and a commitment to exceptional customer service are required,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to unparalleled customer service; excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in and successfully complete required training and to work with the team to increase customer satisfaction and sales.
• Complete Company's training including but not limited to new hire orientation, food sanitation, customer service network, safety, food safety, and product knowledge

Responsibilities
