Sprouts Farmers Market in Whittier is seeking an Assistant Grocery Manager to help oversee the Grocery department, manage inventory, and drive sales and margin. You will assist in hiring, training, and supervising the Grocery Team to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 18+ with 1–3 years of retail management, flexible scheduling including nights and weekends, and the ability to lift heavy items.

Qualificações

• Must be at least 18 years old with 1–3 years of retail management experience.
• Availability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership to motivate and manage staff.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and perform material handling.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Grocery Manager in managing the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Grocery team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and communication.
• Lead a team to deliver high quality products and exceptional customer service.
• Assist in hiring, training, and development of the Grocery Team.
• Unload and sort store deliveries.
• Enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
