Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred. Otherwise, ability to understand and follow English instructions.
• Minimum 1 year of Grind Machinist experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and instructions.
• Ability to hold tight tolerances (±0.001, ±0.0005).
• FAA Drug & Alcohol Program participation required.

Responsibilities

• Grind a wide variety of complex parts with close tolerances.
• Perform own setups including chucking and alignment for irregular shapes.
• Dress wheels and select wheels speeds and feeds.
• Inspect work and use gauging equipment to detect defects.
• Collaborate in planning within the cell.
