Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a skilled Grind Machinist I for the 2nd shift in Buffalo, NY. You will grind complex parts used in flight-critical systems, following blueprints and process instructions.

After training, you will set up and grind high-mix, low-volume parts and perform inspections with precision gauges. Eligible for a $3,500 sign-on bonus; 2nd/3rd shifts offer 10% differential. Qualifications

• At least 1 year experience as a machinist or equivalent
• Graduation from a formal manufacturing, machining, or CNC program
• Ability to set up and troubleshoot CNC processes
• Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and reading blueprints

Responsibilities

• Set up and grind complex parts from blueprints and work instructions.
• Inspect finished parts using gauges and measuring tools.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot process issues.
• Follow safety and FAA Drug & Alcohol Program requirements.
