Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 3 years of Grind Machinist experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and written/work instructions.
• Proficiency with measuring tools: micrometers, calipers, dial bore gauges.

Responsibilities

• Work from blueprints and operation sheets or verbal instructions.
• Grind a wide variety of complex parts with tight tolerances on multiple grinders.
• Perform own setups including chucking and aligning irregular parts.
• Dress wheels for form, taper, steps, straight and unusual forms.
• Inspect all work with air gauges, diastats, V-blocks and profilometers, detect defects.
• Participate in planning and problem solving within the cell.
