DIG INN Restaurant Teams is hiring a Chef-in-Training in New York. Our scratch-based kitchens teach aspiring chefs to develop leadership and culinary skills while enjoying real, good food and a supportive team.

You will prep, cook, and refine techniques across multiple stations, learn menu offerings, and contribute to a mission focused on community, growth, and high-quality meals in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Passion for real, good food and willingness to learn culinary skills.
• Strong work ethic and reliability in a fast-paced kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, and grains following recipes.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, and more.
• Explain menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to guests while sharing a meal.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service as needed.
• Move efficiently in the kitchen, multitask, and adapt to duties.
• Adhere to DIG food safety standards and maintain high hygiene.
