DIG INN Restaurant Teams is hiring a Chef-in-Training in New York. The role focuses on learning culinary skills in a scratch-based kitchen and developing leadership abilities within a fast-paced environment.

You will gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line and delivery stations, while prepping and cooking under guidance. A passion for real, good food and growth in the brigade are encouraged.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains etc using recipes as a guide and taste for validation.
• Gain exposure to different kitchen stations including garde manger, grill, roast, market line and delivery/packout.
• Speak to guests about menu offerings and ingredients to enhance their dining experience.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever needed.
• Maintain food safety standards and uphold DIG policies.
