DIG INN Restaurant Teams is hiring a Chef-in-Training to learn in our scratch-based kitchens. You will develop cooking skills, leadership, and the ability to craft real, scratch-made meals while working in a fast-paced culinary environment.

You will rotate through stations, engage guests about menu offerings, and contribute to keeping our kitchen safe and welcoming. This role offers competitive pay, tips, and growth opportunities in a purpose-driven team.

Qualifications

• Passion for real, good food and eagerness to learn culinary skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, and grains per recipes.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery/packout stations.
• Speak to guests about menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to enhance their dining experience.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever needed.
• Move multi-task in the kitchen; fulfill physical requirements with or without accommodations.
