DIG INN is seeking a Chef-in-Training as a Restaurant Team Member. You will prep, cook, and learn across kitchen stations, earning $17-18/hour plus $2-3/hour in tips and additional benefits. This role emphasizes real food, education, and a supportive team in a fast-paced kitchen.

You will gain leadership skills, learn recipes, and grow within a mission-driven restaurant group that values community and quality.

Qualifications

• A passion for real, good food and a desire to learn culinary practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen and follow instructions.
• Willingness to perform physical tasks and lift up to 25–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains using recipes as a guide.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line and delivery/packout.
• Speak about menu offerings and ingredients with guests, providing a scratch-made meal.
• Support the team during peak times and maintain food safety standards.
• Demonstrate professional maturity and uphold anti-discrimination policies.
