Job summary

Good Grief of Northwest Ohio in Maumee, OH seeks a part-time Program Manager to create, manage, and oversee peer-based support groups for grieving children and families. You will train and supervise volunteers and interns, develop curricula, and ensure safety and compliance across programs.

You will coordinate family intake and referrals, maintain records, and collaborate with the Managing Director on program needs and potential grants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, or related field preferred.
• License in SW, counseling, pastoral care, or related field preferred.
• Experience in grief or bereavement support and with volunteers.
• Experience with art/play therapies and with children/teens.
• Strong communication, compassion, organization, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops annual program calendar.
• Supervises peer support program and bereavement activities.
• Leads recruitment, screening, and training of volunteers.
• Creates curriculum and trainings for volunteers.
• Ensures safety policies and family intake processes.
• Coordinates family records and reporting.
• Participates in program committee meetings.
• Oversees program evaluation and reporting.
