Job summary

Children’s Wisconsin seeks a Program Facilitator to plan and run grief services for families, children and adults affected by loss. You will help develop curricula, coordinate school and community programming, and collaborate with the Grief Services team to provide trauma-informed support.

The role requires a Master’s in a human services field, preferred clinical licensure, and 2+ years of related experience. Travel within Wisconsin and some after-hours work may be involved.

Qualifications

  • Thorough understanding of the grief process and experience working with grieving populations.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and interpersonal relations.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word; willingness to learn other programs.

Responsibilities

  • Creates and maintains materials to strengthen bereavement and palliative care program projects.
  • Oversees grief services group programming, coordinates groups and develops curriculum.
  • Provides training for volunteer facilitators and ongoing staff development.
  • Responds to community requests for information, education, resources and presentations.
  • Engages in professional activities to enhance knowledge of current grief treatment methods.
