Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Substation Engineer Intern to join our Grid business unit and support project execution on transmission, substation, distribution, renewable, and battery storage projects.

Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will contribute to engineering calculations, design work, project reporting, and the preparation of equipment specifications and procurement documents, gaining practical industry experience.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in a BS or MS degree with preference in engineering fields.
• Interest in coding, 3D modeling/design, and AI concepts is favorable.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Assist in engineering calculations, specifications, and designs.
• Track and evaluate project activities and progress for reporting.
• Prepare procurement specifications and related installation services.
